It has gone through several amendments. Series Title: Other Titles: Employment Act, 1955. Akta 265 Responsibility: disusun oleh Lembaga Penyelidikan Undang-Undang. Butiran Pekerjaan yang Bertulis Di dalam Akta Kerja 1955, terdapat banyak peruntukan mengenai kontrak pekerjaan atau istilah yang tertera di dalam Akta 265 ini, iaitu “kontrak perkhidmatan”.
