A & B do not well eachother, and so C & D, so A+C, A+D, B+c & B+D are safe.Nevertheless, doing emissary missions is affected by other calculations, but doing only that shouldn't make any hero to leave your company. There are combinations, bigger ones, that allow you to use more heroes, but you'll have conflicts and thus the moral-game becomes a must, but with these groups you won't have any conflict at all (they all are either neutral or love someone in those groups).
