Hey guys, sorry I totally forgot about this thread I posted. The 'fix' is very simple. When you subscribe and download the mods, they go into SteamSteamappsworkshopcontent435150. In order to actually use mods in-game, the.PAK files need to go into DocumentsLarian StudiosDivinity Original Sin 2Mods. The folder probably won't be there by default, so just make it and stick your.PAK files inside.
Now fire up the game, and you will see all your subscribed mods, which you can then activate.I don't know why this game in particular has this weird roundabout system. I use workshop mods in several other games, and I've never had to manually move the files over like this, I just sub and go. But it is what it is. Anyway, this method works, the only downside is that if one of your mods gets updated, the update will occur in the original file destination, so you'll have to move/copy over the.PAK again to get the update. For Definitive Edition mods you have to put them in Documents Larian Studios Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition Mods and they have to be definitive edition specific mods - mods for the original edition won't work in definitive (there's a method to convert them yourself if you want a mod that hasn't been updated for DE). It can be a bit annoying to have to go into your inventory whenever you get an 'unidentified' item to have to hit it with the identifying glasses so you can finally use it.
Well now there's a short cut. This mod makes it so if you raise your Loremaster skill to level 5, you'll just know what everything is. When an unidentified item enters your inventory, it will automatically become identified.
No more identifying glasses, no more busy work to find out what treasures you've obtained. Mod.

Mods For Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition
This one supplies Fairy as a new class. They'll be able to move quickly and daintily around the battlefield, blessing allies with fortune and cursing enemies with pain as they stay just out of harm's way at most turns. They won't be strong and will be best in the company of others who can do the dirty work, but these ethereal creatures will most certainly make the battlefield a place of whimsy if they have the room.
